Media Room 301 Guidelines
CSFF non-library faculty and staff may reserve the use of the media room. Students should reserve a study room for their study and collaborative needs.
Priority is given to in-person class viewing and teaching incorporating smart classroom technologies and campus events & screenings,
Instructors must stay with the class during in-person viewing.
Media Room may not be used as a substitute for a regular classroom assigned by the CCSF Scheduling Office. Instructors may not book a Media Room for more than 50% of their class meeting time for the semester.
The person reserving the room is responsible for canceling the reservation if they are unable to use the room on the scheduled date/time. This is to allow others to reserve the space.
All events held in Library facilities are subject to approval by the Library Dean. The library reserves the right to cancel a reservation and will notify the responsible parties if a cancellation is necessary.
Please note that use of personal streaming video accounts (i.e. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc.) for class screenings may be a violation of your user agreement. Please refer to the Faculty Guide to Streaming Video or contact the Media Librarian to request access to streaming video for instructional use.
Email media services librarian, DeeAnn Tran with any questions regarding reservations and use of the space.
